Perth Shamrock’s 3 - 11
Sarsfields 2 - 15
Perth Shamrock’s suffered their first defeat of the season against a strong Sarsfield’s side. Few changes in the starting fifteen due to injuries & holidays, but never the less a strong Shamrocks team took the field. Some nice early points from Gary White & Trevor McGrath got the ball rolling but the boys in green did not take advantage of a strong breeze.

Sarsfield’s raised the first green flag of the day before Aidan Murphy replied with a goal of his own for Shamrocks. Over a period of fifteen minutes of hard hurling, another goal was scored by Aidan Murphy who seemed to be capitalising on every ball.
Half Time Score:
Perth Shamrock's 3 – 4
Sarfield’s 2 – 5.
The management made some tactical changes at half time & playing against the wind in the second half was always going to be a tough battle on a wet windy day. Some fine scores from Trevor McGrath, Gary White & Aidan Murphy again, helped Shamrocks keep in touch with Sarsfield’s.
Mark Mullally drew Shamrocks level but Sarsfield’s replied with 3 unanswered points which left the scores in favour of Sarsfield’s by 1 point. Shamrocks did have one last chance when Gary White was unfortunate that his shot drifted wide to leave the minimum between the teams.
Final score
Sarsfield's 2-15
Perth Shamrock's 3-11
Next Fixture: Michael Cusack’s vs. Perth Shamrock’s – 7th June 2014
